HELLO, I’M CHAR
I am a wife, and mom to 3 amazing kids – Samuel, Allan III and Martha. Our family lived in Las Vegas for many years, but moved to a small town in the middle of Nebraska a few years ago. My husband was a web designer for the school district in Vegas for 20 years, and I have been self-employed as a web and graphic/digital designer and creator/maker for over 27 years now.
When I started my web design business back in 1997, the intention was to provide a second income and be able to stay home with my children… who weren’t even born yet!
When my children came along, I discovered that designing websites took more focus than I had, especially during the toddler and homeschool part of our life. So for several years, I leaned more into crafting, selling party favors and digital designs on etsy and on my personal website.
I never gave up website design completely, and continued to help businesses and women build their sites and blogs through the years. Now, as my husband and I are finding ourselves gearing up for empty nest territory, I’ve realized that what I want to be doing next is just this… designing beautiful spaces for women to share their voice and tell their story.
