Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Char Huskins.
I’ve been building websites and helping creative business owners online for more than 27 years and have been using Canva for over 8 years.
I’ve worked with makers, artists, authors, shop owners, bloggers, ministries, and handmade business owners who all have one thing in common: they want their businesses to look beautiful, but they don’t have the skills to create what they can imagine. And they don’t have time for learning the skills without feeling like it’s taking over their lives.
My goal isn’t to make you a graphic designer.
My goal is to help you build Canva skills that support your business and gives you more time to create what you love.

Do I need Canva Pro?
No… but actually yes. If you are a business owner and want to get the most use out of Canva, it’s important to have all the tools. You can do most of what I’ll teach with the free version, but there will be aspects not available.
Is this beginner friendly?
Absolutely. If you can click a mouse, you can do this.
How do I know this Will work for my type of business?
Learning Canva skills will help you, whether you sell handmade products, printables, digital products, books, coaching, creative services, or run a blog or small business. You’ll be learning skills like customizing graphics with your own photos, colors, and branding. And more!
What if I don’t have a creative business yet?
That’s perfectly okay! If you’re planning to start a creative business, or simply want to learn how to create beautiful, professional graphics, this workshop will give you Canva skills you can use from day one.
Who is this Masterclass For?
Learning Canva skills is ideal for makers, crafters, printable sellers, Etsy shops, coaches, bloggers, authors, service providers, and most creative businesses!
What if I already know a little Canva?
You’ll probably pick up several time-saving techniques. Even experienced Canva users sometimes create every graphic from scratch or get overwhelmed.
What if I’m not very “techy”?
You’re exactly who this class was designed for. Everything is taught step-by-step in plain English, and we’ll build the graphics together. No graphic design experience is required.
Do I need to prepare anything before class?
Just arrive with your laptop or desktop, and be signed into your Canva account. You can have a few brand elements handy if you have them, such as your logo, business colors, or product photos. If you don’t have those yet, don’t worry! You’ll still be able to follow along.
Will you answer questions during the workshop?
Absolutely! I’ll plan to do some coaching/teaching without interuption, but I will pause throughout the class to answer questions, demonstrate techniques, and make sure everyone is able to keep up. There will also be 20-30 minutes at the end of the masterclass specifically to ask questions.
Will There Be a REplay?
Yes. A replay will be available if you’re unable to attend live, or want to review the material later.
